Prisonair is a communication channel giving voice to the voiceless. Through prisoners’ testimonies the project raises awareness about the marginalized question of prisons.  The project was presented at Bains de Paquis in Geneva, Switzerland.

Prisonair offers its visitors an opportunity to explore the particularities of the prison environment through recordings of letters, poems or simple statements written by prisoners.

Based on sounds, the sound installation provides visitors only with indirect indications which need to be put together in their minds. Soon they start identifying coded messages which may or may not be hidden in the testimonies.
